Making lemonade
As a Christmas gift, I received a large set of Kustom Body Paints. It was one of those moments when you want to laugh (because the people you love are supporting you) and cry (because they just spent money on something you don't want). I can't return them.
Has anyone else ended up with these paints? They're great colors (especially if you like oranges), but rather sheer and soft. They remind me of Tulip, but with zero staining. I was thinking of making them into split cakes. What do you think?

Re: Making lemonade
its worth a try..have you tried using them with a sponge for like a base and use wolfe white or black for line work...
Re: Making lemonade
Would you mind doing z couple test swatches of the Kustoms. I see them for sale everywhere online, just curious about what they look like.
Re: Making lemonade
I have a St my husband bought me they are OK for practice and make so/so splits since they are very soft and the colors tend to.run together. That being said these were my very first attempted splits. I like using them on my kids just because they come off so easy.
Re: Making lemonade
Sure, Eva.
These are brushed on. From left to right, black, white, copper (it's really bronze--like a greenish gold), silver, gold, dark blue, and blue.
Again, left to right, maroon (I'd call it dark cerise), magenta, pink (not a true pink, more like salmon or coral), dark purple (my favorite), purple, red (orangey).
The only ones I truly dislike are the black and white, because I use the Wolfe versions of those colors. The gold and silver are really nice.
