Amerikan Body Art?

Has anyone ever ordered glitter tattoo products from Amerikan Body Art? I'm looking to get their deluxe kit for $50 and the pack of $40 stencils as a starter kit.

its a good kit to start out with...if your just wanting to learn..then you will need to order more stencils...prolly about 25 designs...6 to 10 of each...found out on here what the top designs are

They are a great company, family owned and operated and homeschool family. Erika is really nice and will answer any questions you have about the kit. It is a really good one to start with, I would get some of the four stencils on one square as they are nice for practice or to do give aways for kids or what not. Good luck!

I also ordered a starter kit there. I was very happy with all of the products.

I've ordered from them a couple times - always fast, great service.

They are wonderful to deal with. I ordered a business kit (I think) & they sent it out quickly. I even got an extra goodie with my order which I was thrilled about. I sent them a thank you email & got such a lovely reply. You won't be disappointed buying or dealing with them.

Awesome! I definitely will be making a purchase with them. Faketoos looks cool too. They have a lot of the characters and things that the kids in my area like. Maybe a I can get some of those too, and some free hand elements to them to charge a little more.

I have had glitter tattoo's and sets from each company... I really have spent way too much in my life... lol

After trial and error and experience my best advice for you is to build your own kit... (this is what I do now)

Stencils from faketoos...

Pick 28 stencils that you want as your 'regulars' and order 6 of each design ($75.60)
Then order the poster with those designs on it... You get an actual 'file' of the poster that you can either make a banner out of, or just print it on 8.5x11 paper and laminate... (poster $15)

(don't pick fads as your regulars) like hunger games, etc... Pick butterlies, etc...

THEN the extras....

Glitter -
5 - 1 ounce bottles/jars of glitter from the forum shop are $29.95
5 - 1 ounce bags of glitter are $19.95 (put in your own container from Michaels etc...)
Glue -
Metina sells that as well... along with a sweeper brush, glitter brushes (not necessary but fun)

So if you did it this way you would get:

168 stencils, a professional looking poster, 5 ounces of glitter in a jar, sweeper brush, glue for a grand total of $132.52 (add 5 more colors of glitter and you are at $152.51)

Then when you need to re-order stencils... It is just $1 for shipping.

If I am only out of 4 different stencils, I can just order that... with $1 shipping you can't beat that as a good way to re-order...

i got my first glitter tattoo kit when i was in vegas...but since i have orderd the stencils from mark at faketoos...shipping is fast and like suzy said only 1.00 ...you can get the glitter here on the forum...

This is how I did it, and I'm glad because even though I've been busy with face painting parties, I have yet to book a glitter tattoo gig! I'm glad I didn't invest TOO much... (still keeping my fingers crossed though, cause they are so fun!)

Your website doesn't even have a picture of a glitter tattoo!!!!!!!! How can you expect to book a glitter tattoo party without so much as a photo of one... silly goose.

I really like the shipping of faketoos but I hate their stencils. Maybe it's just me, but when I peel the top layer off I rip the stencil. I emailed Mark and he basically told me I was doing it wrong. Whatever. I won't order from him again. I burnt up all of one type stencil on one little boy at a big PPF event I was doing. His father was very irritated with me at the time it took. I was not happy.

I like the glitter from here at the forum shop but I like poufer bottle shape a little different.

Just my opinion.
