Gig at school and new website!

Last night I did a volunteer gig at the school where I teach. What was supposed to be 2 hours turned to 3 and they had to actually kick us out! I still had kids in line, but they are my students and they were very understanding. Was a HUGE success...all happy, and listening to the parents talk (while pretending not to hear them) was cool. "She's so talented" "She's better than the one's you see at carnivals", etc. was great for my ego! Some kids even chose to stay in my (very long) line rather than get in line for Santa!! My Santa Mouse design was by far the favorite of the night, followed closely by Mistletoe Mouse!

Also got my website up and running thanks to my computer geek sweetie! Very excited about that! (Posted in General)

All in all a great couple of days in face painting land!

Thanks Valerie! Yea, Wanted to thank them for the comments, but I was having too much fun listening! LOL Of course, I am their kids art teacher, so that may have something to do with it
