Does anyone find this annoying also?

I've wasted money ordering paints (different brands) from different sites and the colors aren't what they look like in the pics. My most trouble is purple. I'm still searching for a medium light purple that really looks purple. Preferably with a little pearl to it or metallic. I thought I found it. I have the same trouble with some greens, especially pearls, they come and look teal instead of green as they did in the pics. Look at this example of the SAME color on different sites, the difference is totally ridiculous! The top one is what I'm looking for. Does anyone know of a really great med. light pearlized purple and a medium green that's pearlized but NOT tealish? thanks!

This is a bit *more* ridiculous than normal as far as differences, but between monitors, ambient lighting, pixel sizes, etc. it is pretty much impossible to ever know a true color in clothing, paint or just about anything else! Many clothing websites say just that. It's probably why I shop so much when I'm at conventions...I can see for reals what a color looks like both to my own eyes and on someone's face!!

Stange! They do look like the PartyXplosion I have, a lilac and a purple.

You could always mix your own if what you order isn't what you want, or make a split cake that blends into it...

If you can't find it exactly, add wolfe metallic white to your sponge and then add the regular color on top, it will make the REGULAR color metallic/pearl for you.

Take your "too dark purple" and chop out 1/3 of the cake out.
replace with metallic white

You can either mush it all together (like play dough) and then re-pot, or leave it separate (3/4 purple and 1/4 white in the middle or side) and just mix with your sponge.

As long as you don't mix the glycerin (snaz, kryo) base with the wax (TAG, WOLFE, DFX) base you should be fine.

As for medium purple, TAG pearl lilac is pretty and not as light as you would think it would be

The wolfe lilac looks more pinky than purple to me

Thats the issue with photo's.
Different camera, different lighting, different flash etc etc.
The flash will wash the colour out

i can for the life of me get a decent picture of glitter colours
