Hi hi from Holland

Hi Everybody,

I just started painting voor a view months. After finishing a course face painting, I totally got hooked with the face painting virus. Now I'm a stay at home mom (not by choice - trying to find work) and I want to do something that i can combine with motherhood. So I started a business for not only face painting but also baking cupcakes, cakepops and cakes. this way I can give people a whole package from food till entertainment. I hope that in the future I could just do face painting gigs. I love doing this and i'm practissing every chance I get. So I'll keep my fingers crossed that my business will yake off and I get the chance to face paint alot!!!

Here a colleague (unimployed for over a year!!!)
I like to bake cakepops, but for selling them I have to change the kitchen (because of the rules)..
But I also am going to make my facepaint business It's not going very fast, but I've done my first 2 payed gigs the last 2 weeks.

Where do you live? (I'm from Nijmegen)

I'm still starting. I'm also from Nijmegen.
I have painted for friends and now i'm busy to get more to know about me and my work. We will see how it goes. I hope it will pick up. I love love to face paint.

I didn't have paid gigs yet, but just voluntary gigs.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
It's nice to see more Dutch people coming here.
It is nice that we can, because the Dutch facepaint forum seems to have bleeded to death.

Hi Carmen! and welcome! Glad to see you already sharing with us on the Show and Tell!
And how nice that you and Daphne may be able to get together for jams! I wish I had a friend nearby that liked to paint...we could do gigs together as newbies and 'shake in our boots' together until we got to be calm, seasoned pros. It's also nice, I hear, if you can't do a gig that you can have someone trusted to recommend.
