Brush Tub?
Where do you guys buy your brush tubs? It's on my to buy list so I can attach those scrubbies that Gilded so kindly gave me. But I can't really find them anywhere -___- And is the round or rectangular one better?
Re: Brush Tub?
Several have mentioned the one in the forum shop is what they have.

Re: Brush Tub?
I think I bought one at Michael's. I can't find it on their site but this one is identical. http://www.artsupply.com/Brush-Cleaning-Basins-Square-Brush-Basin_p_65141.html

hmmmm. I thought the one like the Gilded Cat mention was in the forum, but I can't find it there either.

Re: Brush Tub?
There are 3 different ones at michaels: (1) square white one in the craft paint section and only $3.99!!!, (2) the rectangular one in both the craft paint aisle and the paint brush aisle, and (3) the round one on the paint brush aisle.
Re: Brush Tub?
This is similar to what I use...except the 2 compartments are of equal size.
It has the 2 compartments you see on one side and a large one on the other side, which is where I attached two surgical brushes length-wise with silicone. It was $2.00 at Target.

Re: Brush Tub?
Nice! I wonder if they still have them....were they in the craft aisle or the "dollar" area at the front of the store? P.S. The hubby is shipping your case today.
Re: Brush Tub?
Hobby Lobby carries a little larger size--same basic design, but rectangular that I like MUCH better---I find I don't have to switch water as often. (They have 40% off coupons on-line as well).
Re: Brush Tub?
There is a travel brush tub in the forum shop,
I got a brush bath from sillyarm--and LOVE it---one side is big, for color, two smaller tubs --one for white and one for black so you aren't mixing all your colors up and having to change water less often.
good luck

Re: Brush Tub?
How do you guys dump your water when you're done? I got so embarrassed asking clients if I could dump it down their sinks...
Now I use a stainless steel thermos and just screw the lid on and go. Dump it at home.
