Multiple day contract Empty Multiple day contract

Post by Caswell Designs FP Tue Nov 27, 2012 7:54 pm

I am working up a contract for a client who wants to hire me for three weekends in a row, four hours a day. One of the dates is pending, while I wait for a previous client to get back to me about one of the dates.
I am giving them a discount for booking multiple hours/days, but also have to charge a small travel fee because it is an hour drive both ways.

Should I include each date in the contract or send a new contract/invoice every week? Break the total down per day or for the entire time?
I haven't done a contract for multiple dates like this and want it to be clear and easy to understand for the client.

Payment each day or all at once?

Multiple day contract Empty Re: Multiple day contract

I have done both...do they have a preference?

I've got a golf course doing brunch with Santa for the 4 Sundays in December, and I'm writing up separate invoices for each of them, taking care of payment at the end of each event.

I've also got a client who, for the 3-day Chinese New Year event each year, gets billed for the event as a whole, so all 3 days on one contract/invoice - though their other CNY event is at a different mall on a different weekend and I write up a different invoice for that.

Another client booked a full weekend (Sat/Sun) and wanted to be billed for each day separately.

For separate weekends, I would personally want to do separate invoices, because once I do an event I like to file the invoice away - but I'm thinking I've got a bit of OCD, lol.

Sorry, I don't even know if that helped at all or if I've just confused you more!

It did help Kristal. I will email the client and ask what their preference is.
Thank you so much!

I've usually invoiced for each weekend when doing a multiple.
