In need of some ABA Liquid Bling in Manhattan ASAP
Hey everyone,
Sorry for my lengthy absence, but I've been pretty busy off-line.
Anyway, I just realized today that I'll need some Jet Black Liquid Bling for an event tomorrow (venetian masks for an Eyes Wide Shut party - how fun! []), and I'm completely out. Does anyone have any leads on where to find some in Manhattan? I contacted Erika, but she said she didn't know of any distributors in the area (at least not off the top of her head).
Thanks in advance for your help,
~ Heather

Try Frank Bees on East Tremont Ave in the Bronx -they have an eclectic mix of paints and I think I saw them there. It's right off the Highway.

Thanks, Magic. I'll give them a call tomorrow, and take the trains out there if they have it. ::fingers crossed::

Douglas loves to talk to face painters and he gives me good prices -ask for the entertainers discount

What in the world? I typed a response here, but somehow it didn't post. Boo!
Anyway, Magic, thanks again for that rec. He didn't have what I needed, but I'll definitely keep him in mind for when I have other last-minute needs.
Dummy me freaked out for a minute before I realized that, DUH, I can just make this stuff myself! Wish I would have though of that BEFORE calling just about every makeup store in Manhattan. ::sigh:: ABA bling is just aloe-vera gel (they don't use preservatives, etc.) with ABA glitter, so I used pure aloe vera gel, some of the Jet Black ABA glitter, mixed it, transferred it to a J bottle with tip, and...TA DA! Jet Black liquid bling.
