I thought I would share my first Halloween painting of the season and my first attempt at using liquid latex and blood. The picture quality is not great... but my hands were pretty goopy by the time I wanted to take a picture.

Latex is messy, but cheap and proven! I spent yesterday doing a zombie couple. I used gelatin less messy, but I still had sticky hands too.

Like the cracks/veining under her eye.

How fun! I've just started playing with my gore makeup. I sent my 11 year old daughter off to rehearsal yesterday with a slashed throat, a big scare on her cheek and a scar on her eyelid. The rigid collodion is awesome for that stuff.

Great work with the latex - they're positively OOZING.
