How do you add watermarks to photos? I would love to know so I can try and protect myself.

Re: More Stolen Pics........
Most photo editors can do this. I use Photoshop. If that is too pricey, Gimp and Gimpshop is free. When I learn a new program like that I search youtube for tutorials, you pretty much hit the ground running with it.
Set you facepaint image on one layer. Make the second layer your copyright symbol- preferably only your symbol is opaque. Then you can either shrink that down to a corner (using the transform tool), or you can make it semi transparent over your entire image, depending what you want. Lather rinse and repeat for all other images. There are drawbacks to both- If you put it in the corner, someone can just crop your image smaller if they want to use it. If you leave it semi transparent over the whole thing, it makes it a bit of an eyesore. That's why a bunch of people hide their copyright this way http://www.cgrats.com/create-an-invisible-watermark-in-photoshop.html If a person is looking at a photo they can't see it- however if the image is stolen all someone has to do is increase the saturation and your text proving your ownership becomes visible. Even with an invisible copyright most people still put a signature in the corner still.
Last resort, if you're no good at all with things digital, you could hire a digital artist like me to watermark a batch of them- but really I think if you just give it a chance you'll get it. And there's so much you can do, once you start playing with the program it's a lot of fun!!!! Just give Gimpshop a try!

Some pics you would upload? Do you mean to your personal gallery? Here is a link on how to connect it to your profile http://www.facepaintforum.com/t2828-how-do-i-create-my-gallery-with-a-button-in-my-profile
Or do you mean you want to share your photos in a specific thread? http://www.facepaintforum.com/t1933-how-to-post-a-photo-2-ways
I hope this helps
