I should wait for the official photos to come out, but I can't! The New Zealand Body Art Awards was last night and I placed third in the UV World of Flourescent Illusions Category! There were some eyepopping works of art, including a four person skull so I am beyond happy to be counted among them. Very Happy

Photos of "Jack Out of the Box" as soon as I get hold of some that were taken under UV light. It's just not the same under normal light. Smile

Finally! Now that I see the (single! there's only one! Sad ) UV lit pic of my piece, I can already see about 40 things I would do differently, but I'm still happy. Very Happy
There are helixes connecting the hands to the arms as well, but I only did them on one side of his arms (mistake the first) and the angle of his arms makes his hands look entirely disembodied. Also the wires were supposed to be in front of his body, holding the head up. Because they've gone behind his arms, the head looks completely separated too! Those wires are elwires, with a slow pulse, so they looked like fluid flowing through.

and look, it's meeeee. I think my face was about to crack in half from all the grinning. I get pretty adrenaline-and-caffeinated by the end of the day Very Happy.
