Goin' Gold - Trying to make a difference!! :)

As many of you know, my son, Dallin, age 4, was diagnosed with leukemia last August.
Besides working on my own person projects as The Wishful Artist, I am also working with other cancer moms on another big project!

The other project:
A few of us cancer moms have gotten together to make the Goin' Gold Childhood Cancer Awareness campaign. Our goal is to make the gold cancer ribbon as popular was pink has become for breast cancer. The hope is that as it becomes more popular, it will get more funding. More funding means more research and a possible cure.

Flying Laughter my heart is with you and your family it is devistating that such pain can occur to a Four year old. I have a three year old and I would not know how to be as strong as you are. I too have SHARED! God bless you and your son.

Since I'm a 'pink ribbon' myself now, I'll wrap it with the gold one, suits beautiful together!

I think this is a great idea. I have a close friend whose son is in remission. I will copy & paste this to her.I have unpainted 8" ceramic ribbons. They can be painted with gold craft paint then covered with glitter. I own a Mobile Paint Your Own Pottery studio as well as face paint. Feel free to contact me if you are interested.
