Does anyone put out a tip jar at PPF festivals?

Hi All,
I searched this but didn't find too much. I'm doing my first really big festival and charging pretty good prices, like $10. for nice masks and $15. for full faces. I put all my faces written on wipe boards, so if lines are slow, I'll adjust price! There's 30,000 attendence, lots of people from more affluent areas of NYC and surrounding areas. Should I STILL put out a tip jar? It'll be the first time I'm doing it. I get lots of tips at smaller PPF events, but I don't have a tip jar, they just hand it to me when I take the payment. How many of you put out a tip jar at PPF? Thanks in advance.

I always put one out at PPF. People will often pay and then ask me to keep the change, or give their kids a few dollars and tell them to put it in the jar as a thank you.
My prices are lower than yours, but that is due to the area. Even still, a lot of people will want to show their appreciation for your work by tipping. And when others see it, it creates a domino effect I find.

My wife will be doing her first festival this weekend, and we plan on putting out a tip jar. The whole thing will be a big learning experience for us though!

I bought it as well, boy is that thing HUGE !!!! I really didn't expect it to be that big, and now I'm scared to put it on my table, since tipping isn't part of our culture

Dude!I bought my tip jar on Friday and got it today! I mean, that was FAST!

And this thing is LOUD! I hope I don't get annoyed with it, since I have sensory issues with sound. I mean, the point is for it to make the noise for customers to want to put money into it! I'll let you know. Taking it for a "test drive" this Saturday at a race track gig.
