Greetings from Pennsylvania

Hello!
I have been reading this forum for a little while...but having never used a forum before, I was a little nervous about signing up. Let me know if I am doing anything wrong!
I work full time but have picked face painting up as a hobby that could possibly bring in a little extra money...while allowing me to completely enjoy myself! Nothing more fun than showing the mirror at the end of a painting!
Anyone else have to start bribing their kids after the first 10 practice face paintings?

My thighs are covered up at all times But yes, they would be a big canvas to work on! LOL

I volunteer with the Boys & Girls Club of America so I have plenty of awesome canvas' to work on! Maybe try some volunteering if you have time, with some local organizations?

I have volunteered at a church outreach and a vacation bible school. It makes me a little nervous though because I feel they expect me to be an expert since I am out in public Can't say, "Oh...I don't like that one." and start over. Well I guess I really COULD...

Yep, I have to bribe my kids too, they now charge me one euro a face to paint them lol! They are earning a fortune! Hope your kiddies arent that expensive!

Welcome to the forums! I'm a newbie here too - both to the site and to facepainting - and it's a really friendly place.

I haven't had to start bribing my son yet, but my OH is sadly uncooperative. I think he's afraid it will affect his street cred. My thigh is currently covered in little flowers, as it makes a suitably large practice canvas...
