Hello!
I have been reading this forum for a little while...but having never used a forum before, I was a little nervous about signing up. Let me know if I am doing anything wrong! Embarassed
I work full time but have picked face painting up as a hobby that could possibly bring in a little extra money...while allowing me to completely enjoy myself! Nothing more fun than showing the mirror at the end of a painting! Very Happy
Anyone else have to start bribing their kids after the first 10 practice face paintings?

I volunteer with the Boys & Girls Club of America so I have plenty of awesome canvas' to work on! Maybe try some volunteering if you have time, with some local organizations?

Happy Painting!! Very Happy

I have volunteered at a church outreach and a vacation bible school. It makes me a little nervous though because I feel they expect me to be an expert since I am out in public Shocked Can't say, "Oh...I don't like that one." and start over. Very Happy Well I guess I really COULD... Laughing

Welcome to the forums! Very Happy I'm a newbie here too - both to the site and to facepainting - and it's a really friendly place.

I haven't had to start bribing my son yet, but my OH is sadly uncooperative. I think he's afraid it will affect his street cred. Laughing My thigh is currently covered in little flowers, as it makes a suitably large practice canvas...

Hope you have a lovely time here, and I hope to see more of your posts in future.
