Hello! I live in the Willamette Valley in Oregon and I'm new to face painting. I don't think I want to have a business doing this--I don't think I could handle the stress bounce but I love to paint! It is such fun to see the pleasure kids (and grownups) get when they have their face done. (I do friends parties and plan to do kids faces periodically in a friend's class at school this next year.)

I'm really happy to have found Face Paint Forum and all the talented artists here! (Learned of this site through a youtube by Lisa Joy Young--she is such a sweet, helpful person for face painters! So generously shares her ideas and setup!!

So many nice people here and I've learned soooo much in just a few days!

Vegas Mom, what are doing down in that God forsaken desert if you lived in beautiful Oregon?? Laughing I'm just ribbing you because I originally came from the Mojave Desert in Southern California...just outside Death Valley!! sunny We moved to Oregon because we wanted our twins to have some grass to play in...and what did they do? find the first mole hill to play in the dirt!!! Shocked I love it here though! Thanks for the tip on Gilded Cat, I will look for her!
