First B-Day Party Empty First B-Day Party

Well I jumped in! I worked my very first birthday Party! Started off VERY rocky! Grandma to my surprise had hired me as a SURPRISE!! Turned out Birthday boy DID NOT want to be painted!!! Me being the new and confident painter that I am, did have him painted as a dragon before I left! cheers My only disapointment was this nice pre teen kid who wanted to be painted as batman. half way through the paint his older brother and sister was laughing because they where of course too cool to be painted and he made me stop painting before I was done!!! I WASNT DONE! I couldnt talk him into waiting for the cool highlight and finishing details. Sad End of the day Grandma was happy and there where sparkling butterflys all over the place!! Glittering succes! But I really wanted to make Batman cool just to prove Big Broher and Sister that facepainting is awesome at any age. flower

What's up with that Martha...is there some heckling school? "Oh, such a pretty princess face." or if it's a girl "Why did you ask for a frog?" sometimes the kid in the chair gets upset. I just assure them they are teasing, of course.

Congrats! I have some "What is that"s as well... I just explain and they usually get it and are like " Ohhhhh that looks so pretty". Usually my hecklers turn into my biggest cheerleaders but that little kids for you! Very Happy
