I learned how to paint by watching YouTube, all those great Silly Heather videos. She paints by having the sponge wet, sqeezing all the water out. Works great for her, okay for me. The problem comes when I'm trying to put down an even base color (like what was described in the FACE application for clown or geisha). Just couldn't do it and get a nice, even, consistent tone. Not sure what I was doing wrong. I'm not sure where I learned to use a water sprayer. BUT, somewhere here I caught on that some people use dry sponges and wet the paint only. Holy Hallelujah! I practiced my friend's dead Marie Antoinette face for Halloween, and the gray was wonderfully even!!!! Whoo Hoo! Thanks everyone!

Amen, Glenda!

Actually, I mentioned taking a pic and submitting it to the short contest, but I only did half a face in case we needed to try something else to compare it to, but she really liked the first one. I'll take one on Halloween in full wig and costume for full desired effect!

I love this place! I love you
