When you buy from an online store or eBay, are they not strangers too?

I've been dealing (buying and selling) with online stores and Craigslist for years and payments are always made using Paypal or some other secure means.

Hope people will forgive my inexperience and let my try to redeem myself.

I don't feel that you did anything wrong. There may need to be guidelines set up for the swap shop, but as of now there are none. I guess it is a matter of opinion. If someone doesnt want to take a chance buying from a new person then that's their decision, it doesn't merit trust issues, it just means they may tread more carefully than another person. I personally would not order from someone new, however I see no reason to make you feel bad for posting those for sale. I would of just recommended you introduce yourself and jump in on a few threads. We were all new here at once. I lurked for quite awhile before I found the courage to post for the first time. We should all be able to agree to disagree without offending each other. One of the best things about this forum is that it has been safe, and full of caring and helpful people who share a passion. This thread seems to have gotten a little catty.

My first post on this forum was to the swap shop. I had tons of 'extra' bull that I bought when I first started and was thrilled when I found this place and found the swap section. The price is reasonable for this palette (I have one as well)

I really wish it was the fire pallet I think it's called the one with the hot pink. I looked it up yesterday and it runs for 48 with a so called discount of 1.25 and mind you that doesn't include shipping.

Artsy Lady, that's the one I ordered the other day. I used the "Fire" pallet that a friend of mine had at a jam recently and loved the punch of color it gave my design so that why I'm try to sell my "Wind" pallet.

Think someone is interested in it. If not, I'll just hang onto it.

Hi asteele! Doubt you've been the first one, but after this thread I hope you're the last one... I know no one meant to be rude, everyone in the forum is very nice! Please don't stay "behind the scenes" if anything post any questions you have, pictures, funny experiences etc... & be a sponge to absorve as much knowledge from wonderful painters in here! Welcome to the forum!

I bet! I will get the fire pallet but not just yet =(. For now I need some fab shimmer paints. Well I should rephrase that, I don't need per say I want!! Lol

Ooooo, I love the Fab shimmers too. I have the magenta and it is beyond beautiful!!!

ASteele, Wish I could buy it but share a kit with my Daughter and she is a minimalist and I'm a tackle tart so got to find middle ground. Sorry you didn't have a warm welcome here but lady Jayde is right most of the warm welcomes happen at the introduce yourself thread. Just like there is political correctness in real time there is board etiquette on just about every forum on the web. Don't be afraid to speak out because sometimes we can learn just as much from a newbie as we can from someone 20 years in. We should never stop learning because when we stop we die as artist and as people.

Hindsight is always 20/20. I didn't realize my mistake until it was very rudely pointed out. I just think it could be been handled a lot better.

Suzy Sparkles said her first post was to the swap shop as well.

I've enjoyed all the kind words from those that have extended grace to me and I hope the others will at least learn from their mistakes as well.
