Painting... Best Therapy EVER... Pic Heavy
Today would be my son's 21st Birthday, and tomorrow is the anniversary of his passing. SO, that being said, I am having a little trouble sleeping! I am one who paints when I have a lot on my mind, so here goes...
A little gold fish that I loved on clip art (I get a LOT of inspiration from clip art lol) The fins and tail are a little off center, but that can be fixed.
Not completely happy with this one (Are we EVER?? lol) but I think I would have used a flat with a 2tone 1stroke for the leash, but I was just painting for pleasure, so no worries.
Have to say, I am pleased with the shark. Can't wait to see it on an actual head for better placement, etc. I'm wondering if I can bring it down, incorporate the child's mouth as the shark mouth and have it go up over the nose and between the eyes... Just a thought.
The birds are probably my favorite one...
This shark needs work, but I thought the idea of a tribal shark wrapped around an older boy's eye was intriguing. Going to work on this one some more...
I'm pleased with this one, but think I would do my flowers differently. A little more work, and I will like it more... Love the snail, tho! lol

So sorry about your son too.. Its so hard to lose a loved one especially your child....
I really like those ideas, you did a great job on them. Can't wait to see a pic of the shark on a little ones face...

I hope you found some peace in your creativity and am SO sorry to hear of your loss. I also loved the designs and wonder if you mind if I try the shark? Above all else, I promise to always respect that particular design if you are okay with me trying it out and if I can ever find my dratted camera, I will post the results too. (((hug)))

Could you move the shark down so that the kids eyes are the shark's eyes and the kids nose would help make the shark's nose pop out a bit more??
