Colorini Anyone? More Pics! (updated)
I just got a Colorini Set. This is a temporary tattoo paint that is safe to use on the skin. I just posted a review in the Product Review section but wanted to see how many of ya'll were using it & some pics if you have them.
Here's my 1st try:
I'm about to get out my Tattoo Johnny book & am about to have some fun

I saw your post on fb and was wondering if that was colorini or not. I'm thinking about getting some with my next "big" purchase.

I found it to be pretty easy to work with. You need to use 91% alcohol. It didn't work w/ 70% & wasn't mixing well. I like that the colors can be mixed to make new colors just like paint. I also like that it can be thinned out w/ alcohol to make more of a wash or be used straight for linework or bolder colors. It dries very fast, so you need to dip often into the alcohol. It washes off very easily too w/ cottonballs & rubbing alcohol.
I went to church today w/ my "tattoo" and got a lot of comments & a few requests, so I think it'll be a hot at PPF events....

I have black, red, bright yellow, dark blue, hot pink.
My favorite combo - red and black. Pink and yellow, dark blue can come out a little transparent.

I used Faketoos stencil first and than added some details and outlined the whole thing. The beak should have been all yellow, but my son wanted the top part red.
Re: Colorini Anyone? More Pics! (updated)
I have yet to try the ink w/ stencils. I need time to "play" but have been too busy w/ life.... Can't I just check out & paint

vegas mom,
if you're going to order from Ybody they have a $5 off coupon code in offers if you like their company page on FB. I'm not advertising them, just want to save you money in case you order from them. They also had 20% off Colorini recently, may be the'll have another sale soon.

Thank you! You can... it's just a matter of breaking down the design & doing it repeatedly.... I copied this particular rose off of google images Rose Tattoo". I've copied it so many times & now have the general image memorized. It's all in the muscle memory. I'll be teaching a lot about this in my class at Art of Body Experience next April 2013!
Re: Colorini Anyone? More Pics! (updated)
OK, I finally after 5 days had to wash the rose off. It would have still lasted a few more days, but it was starting to get that old antiqued look about it.
Here's some more practice (this stuff is sooo addictive:-)
I found out it's best to set Colorini w/ a powder. It takes that shinny look away from it & helps it last longer. I didn't have any, so I tried my shimmer powder that I have in the wand.... It doesn't translate into the photos, but it gives the designs a shimmery metallic look (very excited!!!!).
I've referenced Tattoo Johnny & The Tattoo Sourcebook for several of these designs.

I love these! I would totally pay for someone to paint a custom temp. tattoo on me...do you plan on doing these at ppf events or marketing it as a seperate kinda party thing instead of/combined with face painting?

Update??? Is this product here to stay? or is it not as useful as you first thought? I think this would be a blast for April fools day.
