Trying to choose...

I'm finally getting on of my first Rainbow cakes from the shop!
I'm going to choose one and see how to goes, so which would you choose between Havana Sunset and the DFX Neon Rainbow?

I started with the Neon Rainbow and just kinda made my own Havana

I do, however, like the look of Havana over Neon...

They're both very popular, so hard choice indeed... is it the pale rainbow or the dark one?

If it's the pale-pasrel rainbow, i'd go for that one.... you can use it as a aplitcake for flowerdesigns etc, but also as a real rainbow, and girls LOVE rainbows, rainbowbutterflies, rainbowprincesses, rainbow armdesign with a unicorn on it, etc..

The havana nights is great as well, but.. it's not a rainbow :-)

That's a good point, rainbows are key to face painting... I would suggest buying both actually... No use paying shipping on one item. That's what I did in the beginning and let me tell you, I could buy a full split palette with all the money I wasted on shipping.

Oh its not one item, I'm buying a few paradise colors and some one strokes (one of which is a rainbow), so I'm just choosing one rainbow cake at moment

I still say rainbow, the Havana colours are easier to imitate when applying separate colours I think.

Neon rainbow is popular for girls to pick but I don't think it's that pretty. It can get muddy pretty easily. I like the Havana pearl because pearls are a little more comfortable to wear and blend easily.

If you are going to get a neon, I would probably choose Carnival. It makes a neon rainbow and is so BRILLIANT that anyone wearing it attracts major attention.

I have both, and it's hard to say! My personal favourite is Havana Sunset, but that's probably just because I'm sick of neon rainbow LOL.

I always ask the little girl in my chair "which rainbow she wants", holding out the DFX neon rainbow and Havana... I'd say about 80% of the time, they choose neon rainbow.

I would love to get TAg Carnival, but there is none in stock (?) that would have been the first choice, although I will double check.

Agreed!

So glad to hear you say that because they are (were) my nemesis. I'm getting better at them but I still favor boy designs because of that. I want to be Marcela some day.

did you go for the regular 3d leaf or pearl?

I just ordered the Pearl it was so pretty I couldn't pass it up! I can image some pretty small butterflies & feathers with it as well.
