Greetings Face Paint Forum
I'm Dynamike. I am a magician. I have started adding cheek painting to my magic shows about 12 years ago. It is time for me to start painting the full face. So that is why I came to join all of you. I know there is a lot for me to learn. If you have any personal questions for me, let me know.
It is a pleasure to be here.

Re: Greetings Face Paint Forum
Welcome to the forum. Where are you from? 12 years of cheeks - that's a lot of cheeks. This is a very friendly and informative forum. I would like to learn a few magic quick/easy routines just to surprise the kids when things are slow.

Hi WyndyO, I am from Detroit, MI. This is where the economy is the worse throughout USA.
I can already tell this is a friendly forum from the atmosphere. This is my type of place.
There is a magic shop in Orlando, Florida. It has tons of tricks. I would recommend Multiplying Wands and The Coloring Book. Another good idea will be to purchase a cheap magic set are from a toy store.

Thanks Mike..... do you mean the one in Downtown Disney in Orlando?? I have been in there. Funny I drop $50 on paint in a NY minute but cringe at $15 for the magic coloring book..... I am bad.
Re: Greetings Face Paint Forum
Sorry, I meant the one at Daytona Beach. http://www.daytonamagic.com
It is common a lot of people cringe when they see the price of magic tricks. A lot of us magicians buy it anyway if we want to make a living from it.
A good way to save money is to purchase a book/DVD that sells rope tricks. Silk tricks will be good for children too because they like the colors.

Thanks, Angie, I appreciate it.
Shannon, it happens to a lot people, even magicians. Most of us have tricks we do not want to practice. The reason most magicians do not practice is because of the skill needed. It requires more practicing than expected. Those tricks are called "sleight of hand". The easier type of tricks to perform are called "self-working." That type require less practicing.
