Okay, Here's my first ever submission.
Materials:
DFX Black
Snazaroo Dk. Orange
Snazaroo Sparkle Orange
DFX White
Cosmic Glitter ~ Gold

Tools:
Sponge
#4 Round
#2 Liner
Oops! Forgot the instructional text:
1. Using the Dk. Orange and #3 brush, I drew the outline of the butterfly.
2. Then I sponged in the outline with the Dk. Orange
3. I then put a little sheen on the top and bottom of the wings with Spkl. Orange
4. With #3 brush, I painted an outline of the sponged shape
5. With a clean edge of my sponge I "drag" the black into the orange (thank you LW!)
all around the butterfly, alternating between the blackened edge and the loaded orange edge
of the sponge to get a blend. Dab some glitter onto the base color for more bling.
6. Wrap up the rest of the component parts in black with the brush and add a few accent dots.
7. Load some white onto your liner brush and make your swirls and accents, using the end of
your brush handle to make the dots.
8. All done!

This is my '09 Candy Monster. I hope it passes the "What is it?" test.

Used:
1. Paradise Black
2. Wolfe White
3. Wolfe Orange
4. Wolfe Yellow
5. Wolf Mettalic Green
6. Snaz pinks
7. Snaz browns
8. Snaz reds
9. Liquid Bling in different colors for the Nerds "Blood" - I dunno how the nerds blood turned out. Maybe with better placement or less of them or something.

I used mostly #2 and #4 round brushes- no sponges.

1. Outline shape and teeth spaces with light white lines
2. Draw in candy shapes and fill in with color
3. Fill in black between mouth and candy pieces then sharpen teeth with white and define teeth with browns and blacks
4. Outline mouth in reds
5. Add some mouth wrinkles if you like
6. Add Bling Nerds "Blood"

i guess folks are busy. not too many submissions. ok i have been busy too.

but michelle, i just had to comment - that face is amazing.. i mean mouth o mouths... not sure what the sprinkles are about ( or jimmies as we say in philly), but it is RAD (haven't used that expression in years!)

I think the nerds turned out well, I like it!

I used all Kryolan:white, brown,yellow,blue applied with sponge for base and shadowing and bruising. lining black and blood red applied with #4 round brush.
We have been experimenting for a halloween party we are attending.
