My latest belly! (first PAID belly)

I've solicited a couple family members for my first bellies to get images on my site, but yesterday did my first paid belly! It was for a friend from church and she came to my house, so I gave her a little discount. So the image she wanted was of her and her whole family sitting on the beach, reaching their hands up to the sky while Jesus' hands are handing them a baby, with a Bible verse and a plumeria flower. Let's just say I was a bit nervous with this much detail, and a couple of the hardest things for me to paint...people and hands! Yikes! I painted for a little over an hour and a half, and could have gone for hours on this one, but I think it turned out okay. Thanks so much! Yeah, hands are so tough for me...I can do them with tons of time but of course you know you can only spend so much time on one part when you have a whole belly to do! I had the family kneel in front of a bay window and snapped their photo which I used on my phone for reference. I'm just glad she was cool with doing a silhouette or I would have been painting all day! Ha!
