What a view!
Just thought I share a couple of photos of the FANTASTIC view we had at the Syracuse BalloonFest... we were directly across from the main launch area. It was amazing to watch... it didn't matter how many people were in line, when the balloons went up, EVERYBODY stopped to watch... even all the vendors. The kids in my chair certainly wouldn't sit still when it happened so I just relaxed and watched right along with 'em.
This is Friday... kind of dreary, but no rain at least.
Saturday was worse...rain, rain, rain... made just under $200.00 for the whole dang day!
But yesterday was gorgeous, although quite hot & humid...
...for all our Aussie forum friends!!!
I liked the draping on this one...

Took one over the Sonoran Desert. Took off @ dawn & will NEVER forget it!!! Glad to hear you ..."Stopped to smell the roses"...in this case, balloon launching. Now THAT is an awesome gig!
Re: What a view!
I snapped all those pictures without even leaving the tent... some of them I just leaned backward and pointed up with the camera!
Truly spectacular to watch!

Re: What a view!
We do two balloon fests and it's so amazing. You are sooo lucky to have such a great location!!
Did they offer rides? If I were you I'd have signed up as an end of fest treat! lol
Kat, I've been twice and am planning to take my hub and son up. It's so incredible and serene and amazing. Everyone should try it!
