Essentials?

Now that I am out for the summer I can offically start my "business" with face painting. So I'm asking, what are the essentials you all needed for your business? From type (and color) of paints/cakes, to brushes, sponges, etc.

Any and all advice appreciated!

BUSINESS CARDS!!!

Water container & brush holder
Hand sanitizer
Baby wipes & Q-Tips
70% Isopropyl Alcohol & small pot to hold it
(I use translucent gift bags as garbage bags)
Tablecloth
Signage
Paperwork: Model Release Forms, Contracts

Here's a great way too search the forum:

Go to google and type in:

site:facepaintforum.com blah blah

Sub in your search query instead of 'blah blah' of course. Try things like 'which paints', 'starting kit', 'what to order'... etc etc. There are TOOONS of threads out there.

I've replied to a lot of these threads before so I don't feel like typing the same response again and again, haha. I'll just say my TAG Pearls have been completely indispensable, as well as DFX Neon Rainbow, TAG Rainbows, Wolfe/DFX white/black.

What do you guys think about the TAG Starter Kit? I'm thinking of ordering that with the DFX White & Black.

for line work order the wolfe black and white. most of the painters here recommend the wolfe over any other for line work.. they didnt carry wolfe when I started so I ordered dfx the only thing I have to compare it to is snaz which is real hard to work with for line work. I will be ordering wolfe soon tho for comparison...

Ehh, I hated Snaz for line work but I'll definitely see about Wolfe
