Newbie from Washington state! Hello everyone!

Love the forum and looking forward to chatting and sharing with everyone, I would like to know if there's anyone from my neck of the woods? I feel like I'm pretty isolated when it comes to the whole face painting business it all seems to be happening on the east coast.

Washington is a pretty big state, hahaha. You could let us knew where exactly! hahaha, maybe your name....

A name helps doesn't it? My names Ana and in in Yakima Washington. I know of one other FP in the area and I've had heck of a time staying up to date because FP isn't popular around here.

I have a dear friend that spent time living in Yakima. She lives up here in Canada with me now though.

Hi Ana - I'm in Washington, too. Edmonds (north of Seattle). I hit Yakima 2 or 3 times a year for shows (I'm an actor) and really enjoy it!

I'm not a pro face painter yet - though working my way there one day at a time. ;-)

Hi Doe! Yes I'm working my way there as well. I studied art in college but hadn't picked up as much as a crayon in about 10 years. I made my jump into FP because of my kids like so many other FP's. Actor how fun! Do you come for shows at the Capitol theater?

I mostly do private events and conventions. I've done shows at the Convention Center and some of the local hotels. I do interactive Murder Mysteries - so, we are great for corporate gigs. We are usually in Yakima a few times a year and Ellensburg/Tri-Cities a few times.

Hi Ana, we drive through yakima about once a year on our way to see relatives in seattle and oak harbor. I think we're coming through this fall:)
