I have the pleasure of working at a waterpark all summer. We do two Family Fun Nights a week, each are about four hours long. I get paid hourly and offer free face painting.

This is my fifth year of doing it and every year, they pay for my supplies but they only do it once. So for the past four years, I've bought one or two little Snazaroo palettes and a pack of four Snaz brushes. Of course, after two weeks, I'm bone-dry and paying for paint out-of-pocket.

NOT ANYMORE!

This year, I plan on going to them with a pretty hefty purchase.

My question is, what should I get?

I am so incredibly ignorant, ESPECIALLY when it comes to brushes! What brand of brushes do you use? And what is this whole thing about sizes? What do you consider the five most important basic brushes to have?

And as for paints, which brand do you prefer? For the past six years, I've use Snazaroo exclusively. I figure if someone else is paying for my stuff, I might as well branch out. And what size do you normally purchase? If I'm doing these events for about ten weeks, what size do you think will be the most efficient?

Thanks guys!

I'd get the largest size (90's)white and black in either wolfe or DFX for line work and then a full kit in TAG or paradise, and don't forget the glitter!

brushes I'd have to have several good 4 & 6 round and at least one 1" flat for split cakes, plus some sponges.

I'd see if you can negotiate a discount for a wholesale order?
