Re: Kitchen contact paper?
I thought I read on here that someone has, but I couldn't find it with the search bar.
Re: Kitchen contact paper?
Yes I have use the white, I would like to use black but they don't sell it at my store, I print it on the back side and cut it by hand, I want to try it with my cameo.
Re: Kitchen contact paper?
You all must be dedicated, that sounds like a lot of work! I'm intrigued, do you make special designs that you can't find the pre-made tats for?
Re: Kitchen contact paper?
Actually you can only cut simple designs like hearts, flowers, skulls, etc, I used to do that before I got the cutter, I had my scissors in my purse and when I had to wait for my daughter's after school programs I cut my stencils.
Re: Kitchen contact paper?
OK so i understand correctly, you are just using this as a stencil material, not peeling it off for use on the skin ?

Re: Kitchen contact paper?
I used the contact paper but only had one design each, because i cut them by hand. My fingers were killing me! At the event, I charged 1 dollar per tattoo and I ended up making about 45 dollars. The kids here have never seen glitter tattoos and I am pretty psched to offer it to them. HOWEVER, I have seen on other threads here, ppl charge 5 dollars per tattoo? That would really help me. I am not sure my parents will pay that much. But it doesnt hurt to try i guess.
After the event i concluded I will Never EVER do this again using stencils up against the skin. the paint rubbed and everything took 2 x so long as it would probably normally take. Yes, i am using a stencil against skin, no glue to hold it there, just my hand. DOES NOT WORK. FOLKS DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME LOL. I ended up with frustrated kids and long lines. Dear God pls send me a cameo somehow.

Re: Kitchen contact paper?
If you get a chance this weekend, will you please try the contact paper on the Cameo? The contact paper is extremely affordable solution.

Re: Kitchen contact paper?
Vicky I bought plastic stencils to do the tattoos, that is a NO NO, the glue goes under the stencil and you will never get a clear edges with that and it is so hard to clean the glue from them.

Re: Kitchen contact paper?
Ok finally I did it and I can say it WORKS!!!, few of the very sharp pointing ends came apart and don't stick back together but is nothing to worry about and there where only a few, I am so happy to find this so cheap alternative for my glitter tattoos.[img][/img]
