Re: eye popping golds and silvers?
I use Interferenze Silver for a really sterling silver.
I just discovered Paradise Silver yesterday and it's so much more awesome that the Snaz Silver.
As far as gold, the Interferenz Gold and Bronze are beautiful for making jewelry. I like the way the Paradise Gold looks, but the cake is so crumbly it's useless.
As for metallic colors:
Good: Snaz Electric Blue, Black, Purple, Green and Sparkle Pink, Salmon, Orange, White, and Turquoise.
Horrible: Snaz. Silver and Gold

AGREED: HORRIBLE: SNAZ SILVER AND GOLD.
I have the Wolfe Metallic Yellow for a very light gold (I use for FSU football), and the Wolfe Silver.....they seem to do o.k. but I'm now interesed in the Interferenze silver & bronze......

Re: eye popping golds and silvers?
Wolfe gold and silver BUT the OLD stock, not the new stuff - which is not a lot of help is it? Sorry.
Kryolan Interferenz Bronze as gold... it is awesome!
Grimas makes some nice golds. And I use Grimas Silver over top of greys to make "metallic" cyborgs, etc.
The Snaz gold and silver are useless on their own, but I made a split cake with Snaz gold and electric copper and it is a great animal base. I shoved the silver into my grey cake... gives the grey a bit of a shimmer.
Fardel liquid golds and silver are beautiful but soft.

I do not love the paradise metallics ---- but the mehron silver, gold and copper metallic powders are awesome ---- i can just put a little powder on a wet yellow or gold cake and it makes an awesome realistic metal look!!!
I love the Kryolan Interferenze Copper and Silver - they are WORTH it!!
The Wolfe/DFX Gold, Metallic Yellow, and Silver do perform well too - again I prefer them for painting adults.
