My new FATMAX
So I was telling my hubby all about this site and showing him all the awsome FATMAX setups. He was so amazed as I was. So he went out and bought me one. awwwww =). I was too excited. I had some rhinestones and duckt tape laying around and I think I went crazy on the duckt tape. This is what boardom does to a person..lol.. So here it is my new blinged out zebra fatmax.

Re: My new FATMAX
I don't have a fatmax, but if I did that's exactly how I'd want it to look.
I LOVE bling!

Re: My new FATMAX
Nice I love my fatmax but getting it in the car is so hard sometimes.
My mom has another one that i think is better it seperates into sections. So if I am doing a small party I just need one section.

Re: My new FATMAX
This is for Fat Max lovers that are worried about the top lid not having enough support when it's open (like me). I made a great support for the open lid by taking two pieces of foam core poster board and cutting 4 inches off the height. Then, I duck taped both pieces together around all 4 edges to give it added strength. When you open the fat max lid, place the boards at an angle underneath (have the base of the boards touching the wheels, place the top of the boards to fit in the deep groove on the fat max lid). This simple "fix" is lightweight, but will give plenty of support. You can decorate the board if you want to. I'll get pictures this weekend.

Re: My new FATMAX
Argh! At Home Depot trying to decide - to FatMax or NOT to FatMax?!? I'm usually a standing painter and am afraid bending and stooping will hurt my back, but I see many of you stand and paint with directors chairs with no trouble. My scrapbook bag's seam is starting to split from lifting it (poorly made I guess) so I want durable but I'm not SURE!!!
Re: My new FATMAX
are any other painters near you who have one? where you could actually see one in action? I was on the fence about buying one until I worked with another painter who had a max, I was sold after that.

Re: My new FATMAX
I don't paint out of mine, just store stuff in it to bring everything in one container... well, I have recently converted the top section into my balloon twisting station instead of wearing a balloon apron, but I've found that I LOVE twisting from it.
Re: My new FATMAX
Hows the new Fat max??? I was in lowes checking out their only one in stock and it was broken.. The one i looked at in Home Depot seemed to have some closing issues. Do you still find it a good buy??
Re: My new FATMAX
WOW!! Looking at yours makes me want one and i have no where near enough stuff to put in it to buy one!! haha!!! Super cute job though!!
Re: My new FATMAX
Gotta luv my hubby....We went into lowes today to look at a toolbox that would hold my 3 jewelry cases of paint, glitter, tats and hand size towels. I was rambling on about the fatmax. He calmly and patiently listened to me talk to myself, open and close 2 other standing, rolling toolboxes... We left the store with the kolbalt hand held toolbox(on sale for 19.98) dang it holds a lot.
We get home and theres an e-mail waiting for me from Amazon for the shipment of a fatmax...Will be here on Friday....woo hooo......duck tape here I come!!!!!

Lorie, how tall are you, and do you paint standing?
I too am on the fence. It seems awfully low for me to paint out of while standing. I am 5'6". But yet it seems like the best option...?
@Vegas Mom: Nice hubby!! Keeper for sure.
