Perry The Platypus!

I was mega inspired by Emily Hardin's forehead character designs she's been posting on FB lately and of course Lisa Joy Young's Dr. Suess stuff, so when my son actually ASKED to be painted and said he wanted to be Perry the Platypus I didn't hesitate and knew exactly where I wanted to put him.

I'm still in shock that he ASKED to be painted!

Totally going into my inspiration file. I've done a full face Perry but that is WAY cuter!

Yay! I think that's the first time someone has thought of my stuff as "inspiration file" worthy! Thank you Martha!

DD and I both tried this yesterday - I did the Agent P (like yours) and DD did Perry - w/the crazy googly eyes and no eyebrows. Too funny.

Thank you for the awesome inspiration. We've already started working on other forehead designs like this - Angry Birds, Sesame Street Characters, etc. DD did King Pig on her own forehead right before she went to bed.
