Was just offered a 10-day gig at the Royal Agricultural Fair!!!!!

Unfortunately, I do not have transportation 10 days in a row and I would have to find daycare for my daughter... I turned it down . But, I got on the phone with facetheart and let her know so hopefully she can score it

If she ends up getting it she said she could probably score me a couple days and pick me up too You guys are all great!

Another downfall to the contact is that it was through the bouncy castle company who sub-contracts me. If I'm going to be painting at such a big event I would want to hand out MY business cards. She told me we had to "brainstorm a really good quote to seal the deal", so I think she was going to try to get me to lower my rates. And I charge $40/hr for that area lol

Only 40$? Wow, that is low. If your avatar reflects how you usually paint, you should definately up your rates.

Thanks, *redstar*, I am raising my rates in August. I've been painting for 7 months and I started so low just to get business. not going to lie, my avatar probably took half an hour lol. But I was taking my time and improvising
