Suzy Sparkles Ad Copy???

" alt="" />So surprised to be sent this photo from my Easter gig by a pro photographer. I've always hated photos when I'm working, but he caught me laughing at this young man's antics and a decent shot of my setup. Looking at it I believe it would make ad copy for Suzy's Sparkles Cosmetic Body Gel...you can actually read the labels! They pick up the color of the balloons in my apron and for the first time I got a non staged working photo that I REALLY LIKE...yeah my area is messy when I'm working but this was 1 and a half hours into a gig of balloons and fp.

I love it! Your workstation is not messy at all compared to mine...maybe compared to Shannon's but we won't compare to her's..k?

Thanks for the kind comments. Yes Suzy you can certainly use the photo...think it's just so funny how they showed up and I love using them. Cut back many faces and just added your glitter gel and it is faster with major impact.
Tash, I shop low end shoe shops during Easter...this hat had roses and netting, had it on the table ripping it apart when my husband walked by and "let me Know" I would not be able to return the hat if I didn't like what I did to it. DUH! Added a glitter pink feather from Christmas decorations.
I'll have to post our new duds for the other painters. Took miniature top hats at $3. added layers of felt buttons. and had a Sunshine embroidered
on them. Did not want our artist fighting the heat, yet years in the business has taught me HATS speak volumes and make people realize the moment you walk in that your special...probably entertainment.
Did our first ball game this week end and the response to our setup and costuming was over the top. Always suggest if you want to increase bookings take a look at what your client sees...is it a "Mom that does face painting" or what looks like a pro walking in the door. Don't get me wrong ours ARE Mom's that do face painting...but they sure don't look like it. Each gig each and everyone of us does affects the long term image of face painting and face painters so it is vital we do our very best in all areas.

Wow! What a great shot! You are totally adorable. Please share some more outfits. I am always looking for ways to impress my clients, but I'm certainly no clown. Love the hat and the idea of a mini hat. I always always am fully made up, some kind of face design(usually something that might draw adults and teens) and then a matching flower or headband or hair scarf. Summer is always tougher, since I want light clothes and my hair up.

I would love more of you inspiration.
