Thanks you Lisa, your a fountain of valuable information! I think you would make a great moderator if another spot is ever available...

Dear Erica's Funny Faces:
I have deep respect for Suzy Sparkles and Denise Cold as moderators, (don't tell them I am talking about them behind their backs, they may think that I am sucking up to them so that I can swear with impugnity and avoid being 'moderated'). I could never be a moderator. Most of the time I am TRYING to be a goofball and give truly silly advice, to make myself laugh.
I think what really helps is the fact that I have made SO many mistakes. It turns out that is soul-cleansing to share my mistakes with like-minded people on this Forum.
Welcome to my happy little world of face painting addiction... and I don't want to ever be cured.
xoxo

Re: best way to clean brushes? what's your system?
i'm not sure I clean mine right either...
as I work, I use a plaid water holder than lets me rake out the paint through vibration. I clean out the paint, dip in clear water, then I sit it in alcohol for about a minute and air dry...
I have a bunch of brushes, usually by the time the last brush is used up, the first brush is dry and ready to go.
afterwards, i'll wash with pink soap when I have time, and vibrate the paint out of the ferrel over and over til nothing is there any more.
with my sponges, I wash in pink soap, and then I microwave for 2 minutes.
