Miss you guys!!!

Been totally craving FPF time! It's been just crazy! I thought I would do a quick share! The Las Vegas FPBA was a BLAST and our team won 2nd place in the group contest led by Dutch Bihary!
Had the far too short pleasure of seeing Suzy and Metina but I don't have distance glasses and I think I missed them for the most of the rest of the convention, but I was just so happy to get a hug! It was a fantastic event for me and I think more than a couple of people got to experience the fun and profit of henna! I made some fantastic friends and had the joy of being able to pick Dutch's brains....one of my fav artists!

Got home and had to hit the ground running! I was invited to join Ace Angels Bodypainting for the Taboo show here in Winnipeg. It was in talks awhile ago and they liked my list of credentials and my work so I got a chance to create, and gain some speed and put to test some of the things I learned in Las Vegas!! I was not thrilled with every piece but it was a great trial by fire and I earned some nice $$! I was lucky enough to be mentioned in both local papers!!! Online for both papers and in print for the Free Press!

Now it was under the Ace Angel's banner, but they will hopefully be able to send any local work my way. My only worry? 'Little' gigs may get lost in the shuffle. The small private appoint. etc. Much like agents I hear who get calls - I worry that the stuff that is beneath the radar may get shuffled to the bottom of the heap when there is no real $$ in it for them. They seem great so I'm pretty sure that is an unfounded worry!

And on the 29th, I head to the faboo henna conference HEnna Gathering in Rhode Island!

You all realize that you had every hand in this journey of face and body paint with me and I am grateful! I know that I'll still be scarce with the oncoming bridal season fast approaching, but thank you to everyone who has been my support, my cheering section and my friends! I get so excited watching you grow and become more busy. you are an inspiration to me. You are so cool kim. lol kinda feels like your taking us along with you when you post the wonderful things you've got going on. Much respect be safe out there.

Love your stuff, as usual. You have inspired me in so many ways. This festival year is going to be so much better for me...because you helped me with Henna! Still need to make it up to Kent! But I practice and hear your voice all the time...so encouraging! Your painting blows me away too!

I'm so happy you could take a breath and found a little time to post here your amazing work! You're always a source of inspiration! Love all those designs but my fav is the green dragon on "Flynn"'s back, STUNNING!
