round, maxi pop designs (round, sponge brush for peace signs, what else?

I have one of those round, sponge brushes. I think sillyfarm.com calls them maxi pop brushes. I do a white baseball, peace sign...but what else can i do w/these that are quick, easy and fun?

sun? Let me know if you have any ideas to share. I plan to have a bunch ready for this weekends gig, w/ multiple arty cakes and rainbow cakes.

Sun, lollipop, fish, bird, snowman, soccer ball, bubbles, oranges, beach balls, earth... panda bear, wheels, pumpkin, moon...

I'm sure I'll think of more...

They're also called a mop sponge I believe.

I used one for this design

Load on a two-colour split, twist slightly and you have a shaded bubble or round bead if using the small ones.

The are very cheap in three packs in the dollar stores. Daubers and Spouncers... for stencilling.

Clock, planet, smiley, caterpillar, cherry, tattoo roses....

Spider! Here's one I did yesterday.

Thanks!! It was actually the first time I tried a spider with the rainbow cake, and I absolutely love it! I think my spiders will only be rainbow from now on... LOL

That is a really cool spider.....kinda a girly spider...love it...I am always looking for a different kinda looking spider...I have a Superhero birthday party ...5 year old girl...always wants red spiderman....loves snakes...spiders...just maybe I can give her a colorful one like this ...very cool inspirational.

I use a ton of them around Christmas time to make ornaments. I also use them for pandas, frogs, koalas, cheek art teddy bears. I've seen people use them for a ton of different animals including a parrot. They're pretty handy to have around.

I use them to make dragonflies- double load two colours then twirl onto face with about 7 dots coming from the forhead around the eyes onto the cheek. I add wings between the first and second dots on the cheek with some "veins" and then add eyes and glitter, dots and stars. It is really lovely and popular.

I also do princess masks the same way sometimes. I use the double loaded sponge to make a "bead effect' coming fron the hairline down to the centre like a crown.

I use it also for spiders, fish and other things for really little kids who won't sit still but I still want them to have something pretty cool.

I love this fish design ! so quick and very efficient ! How old was that kid ? I've never painted a kid under 4 years old and I think that it can be hard even if with a 4 yars old, they don't want to sit still for long so I'm pretty impressed that you did that with this little kid ! very professionnal !!

I try not to paint under 2, but I have 99% luck with kids sitting still. I think he was 2ish, they are always really good for me, except the spiderman kids. they are the wrigglers and want straight lines grrrr

Love the glitter application, saw Pashur doing this at Kidvention, it was so beautiful, it looks like stained glass! I want to take his class on this!

Love these designs! I love doing spiders...have no idea why. I hate real spiders! Also love the angry bird. Great idea. Could also do a Pokemon ball...is that still popular?

Can anyone explain how to do that glitter technique? I have a real thing for glitter. My son calls glitter the "herpes" of the craft world - LOL. I have it everywhere, and I don't even care. A little sparkle makes anything prettier!
