I am posting on this thread again because an amazing thing happened.

My nephew was my brother Dion's only child. Dion is a HUGE Joe Bonamassa fan, is personal friends with him and travels around the world to go to his concerts. One of the last times my brother and Derek did something together was go to a Joe Bonamassa concert.

Joe (a phenomenal blues guitarist) is from Utica, a city near Syracuse and is appearing in Syracuse tomorrow at our famous Landmark Theater. My brother is flying in today to attend the concert. Unbeknownst to me, my dad entered my name in the Syracuse Post-Standard's contest to win 4 tickets to the concert and one of Joe's autographed guitars.... GUESS WHOSE NAME WAS DRAWN?!!!!!! I WON!!!!! Somehow, I believe my nephew had a hand in it! My sister, and my son are going with me and we get to spend the preconcert backstage with Joe and his touring company!!!!

First off I'm so sorry for your loss! I haven't been in the "break room" for a while and for some reason decided to revisit it today. Losing family, especially when they're so young is so hard. I'm so glad to hear your painting has gotten you through and especially glad to hear that you get to be with your brother and go to this concert together...I'm sure it will be comforting to be there together Smile.
