In Loving Memory...
I lost my dear nephew and my brother lost his only child yesterday in a very tragic accident/incident in California. There are no words to convey how broken-hearted I am... I want the world to know that this man was a wonderful, compassionate soul who was known to go to McDonald's to buy meals for the homeless. He was an USAF Iraqi War Veteran. I am proud of who he was and what he stood for in this world.
I love you, Derek sweetie!!!!

Re: In Loving Memory...
So, so, sorry. My brother lost his 19 year old daughter to cancer. It shouldn't happen that parents lose children.

Re: In Loving Memory...
Oh, Miss Ronnie, big hugs, and thoughts of deepest sympathy for you and your brother's family. It is just so wrong when someone's child dies before the parent.
May you get to the place where Derek's life is more meaningful than his death. This is not easy for you, or your family.

I am so glad you posted and are talking about it.
I was worried when you were unable to talk about it that morning.
Again, I am so so sorry. He was beautiful inside and out, and the world was a lucky place to have him in it.

So sorry for your loss Rhonda, may God be with you in this time of sorrow and bless your brother and his family. How difficult it must be to lose a child at any age. We do not expect to ever do that. I pray for your comfort and for you to be uplifted during this difficult time. God bless.

Re: In Loving Memory...
Thanks for your thoughts everyone. The last several days have been tough... but I had a major event Sat. & Sun. and it helped take my mind off things. I discovered that face painting can be very therapeutic as it literally calmed my soul this weekend...

I'm so sorry for your loss Ronnie. What a wonderful young man that will be missed.
I agree on the therapeutic powers of face painting. It calms me even in my worse trials.
