Does face paint wash off of furniture easily?

Hey guys I just had someone ask if the kids rub faces on the furniture if the paints will wash off easily?

White fabric, Wolfe Black... not a chance in hell.

White fabric, Snaz Teal... maybe. With proper pre-treatment and cleaning products.

Darker fabric and prints.. should clean up and not be visible.

Solution? Don't let painted kids near the furniture.

I was thinking something like that. Like, is this lady really let her kids roll all over the furniture with paint on their faces? lol

Lol I told her that I ope it's not really a problem. That I paint my very active 3 year old almost every day and I never have a problem with it rubbing off onto the furniture

I don't know Shannon, although I don't have a white couch, nor have I ever had the pleasure of getting any wolfe black on one I think that small smudges that I would expect on furniture from face paintings from a party (if you were ahem...going to let kids run around your white couch and put their faces on them?) that could be removed with ivory soap, since I can get all the stains out of my sponges with it, and there is far more paint on them .

I bet I could MAKE a stain that could never be removed, but I have never tried! I know I can get it out of my clothes with ivory too, even wolfe black, the only one that I had a problem with was that horrible tulip teal green...I don't really think it was face paint (more like furniture stain )

If you can catch any of them still wet and scrub the heck out of them with Ivory... you probably COULD get most of it out, at least so the casual observer would not notice.

I have a yellow polyester blend shirt that has several 8 year old Snaz black stains... didn't catch them to pre-treat before washing and drying. Once it set up in the dryer... I was s.o.l.

lol I think the only time Wolfe Black didn't stain my clothes was the time I caught it with spray n wash. I can't imagine trying to get it out of furniture.

I have one kid that made me want to take up the clothes line and ditch the dryer...so many stains set by the tumble beast.

I guess depending what color but i have got some on my couch before and all i used was the steam cleaner and it came right off.
