How much face paint do I need?

Hey guys!

I'm going for an avatar look for a party I'm going to on Friday. I've watched a couple of tutorials so to get the desired shade I'm planning on mixing some cream dark blue paint with some cream white paint.

I'm wondering how many I would need to buy to be able to paint my whole upper body (waist up) and face. Each tube is 1oz or 28g apparantly.

You will have a better idea after you test, but it really depends on how you apply it - how solid it looks and what you are using to apply it (if it absorbs a lot of the paint) - as well as what brand and what the pigmentation of it is like. If you practice on one full arm to test, then multiply the amount used for that by 10, you'd probably be pretty close.

I just did two smurfs really 1 and 1/2 adults since the man only did his torso but i used 1 whole paradise lagoon blue and a little of a 2nd one but not enough to make a dent.

Thanks for your inputs. I only have time to buy one batch seeing as the event is the day after tomorrow and I'm ordering (next day delivery), so I can't actually test.

Those are 1.4oz right? I guess I'll just double that because it's a cream so I'll buy 2 or 3. Thanks!
