How to remove the glitter tattoos?
Hi guys
How do you remove the tattoos once they get a little old? Would they remove with baby oil? How do you do it?
Thanks x

I use a q-tip soaked in 70% (you could also use 91 or 99%) alcohol and just rub it gently over the tatt until it softens and picks up the glue... it make take a bit of time and a few q-tips to get it all off.

cool cool, I was thinking of something to get it off to tell the parents as I'm not sure they would have the alchohol, I will have a play to see. Thanks for the tips x

I have on my care cards that they can use rubbing alcohol (any strength works), or baby oil/olive oil will work as well. I use olive oil to take off my own practice tattoos or anything I apply using pros-aide.

I coat the tat in baby oil wait 5 mins and wipe with tisue. then repeat. before having a shower I tell the parents to do this to so that they arn't scubbing the glitter into the skin.
I stress this part as you just can't assume that parents won't try that then phone you and say allegy when in fact it was lack of common sense i.e glitter + rubbing = exfoliating (which can go a bit wrong and leave a red mark)
I used to say alcohol but found a few seemed a little put off by that. where as they just seem to like the idea of baby oil. either works. baby oil is cheeper and parents seem more likley to have it on hand and if they don't it is cheaper at the shops than a bottle of isocol.
