Custom Made Tattoo for a Halloween Custom
I LOVE LOVE my silhouette cutter. I had a request for a Son's of Anarchy "Old Lady" Tattoo for her costume.
This is the largest and most difficult tat I have ever done. Took about 20 minutes to apply it and half an hour to create it and pick it apart, but I LOVE IT!

Fantastic !Do you use the cuts a lot program with your cutter?
Re: Custom Made Tattoo for a Halloween Custom
I use the FREE software on the silhouette's webpage. It will take any JPG and make a stencil. If is isnt a JPG yet I easily convert it to a JPG in my other FREE software called GIMP (like photoshop)
My husband made car decals for his buddy for his hip hip dance group, and now he made a mythbusters one and Family Guy one.
I just had someone request Angry Birls. We shall see.

Thanks Mana, that was all I needed to make the decision and I will buy my silhouette today, the problem is the SD cost $200, and the new one cost $240, I don't know which one to pick, the new one allows 12" paper, but I don't know if you really need to cut something that big.
Re: Custom Made Tattoo for a Halloween Custom
It depends on what you're using it for. If you are just using it for small stencils, by all means go for the smaller one. But if you think you might use it for larger letters, or images (think wall clock, or window images - Christmas or Halloween, or car decals for a business), or if you do any scrapbooking... Then an extra $40 hardly seems like a big deal for the extra possibilities.
Good luck on your decision and let us know how it all goes.

Re: Custom Made Tattoo for a Halloween Custom
I have the smaller one. It cuts glitter tattoo stencils a sheet with about 9 on each sheet. I get my vinyl at Signwarehouse.com
I cut the rolls because they come in 15" x 30'. I make the rolls 6" and 9" rolls. I dont waste a piece at all. The rolls are only $14 each. right now I have black, white, blue, yellow, red, and purple.
I make decals for cars and windows as well as my own tattoo stencils.
