Hi all,

I only started face painting about a month ago. I'm a make up artist so I had been using my eyeshadows, pigments and a mixing medium to do some simple flowers and lines on the kids faces. I lashed out and purchased some face paints at IMATS a couple of weeks ago and have been having fun with these and doing the kids up. This is the first time I've felt ok about posting a picture of something I've done.

My eldest little girl wanted a mermaid today so I tried out a design that I have in a book...can't think of the name of it though, sorry. So...here it is.

far out...am so sorry...image is huge. Still new to this so I'll try to fix it.

There are things that I should have done differently, and especially trying to work on a moving face. However, like I said, only been doing this for a month so I don't think I'm doing too bad Laughing

Very nice! I like the colors and the line work is good, very symetrical! I so admire anyone who can get both sides the same...you are doing terrific for only painting a month!
