I personally like Aquacolor, and Masters touch as they have plastic handles and stay nicer looking longer...I tend to let the wooden ones get wet somehow and the paint cracks off, or stains and looks all yuckky...

I think I have the name wrong on the Aqua___ ones, but they have clear plastic handles....

Paradise are nice, but I am not as gentle in my care so that I can afford replacements are often as I would need...

I'm strictly a Loew Cornell chick no adays. I sold off just about all of my sables...I think and I haven't found anything that propels me into painty happiness like my LC brushes...

My faves are my Loew Cornell La Corneille line 7000 series. they have the smokey topaz lucite chisel handles. I tend to try an stay away from wooden handle brushes, but I have some very very nice sable ones. I just have to be a liitle more diligent in the care of them.

I have Lowe-Cornell 7000C which I like very much. I have Mark Reid but only like the #4. I have Paradise and Royal Majestic but only like the #3 and the Donna Dewberry One Stroke brushes. The paint came off after a few weeks and the bristles along with it. I have one da Vinci Harbin Kolinsky Red Sable that I bought when I first started painting. I hated it. But now that I have better brush control I am loving it. You can make beautiful flowers, it holds tons of makeup and thin to thick is easy. It cleans like a dream. It is becoming one of my favorites.
