Oh no.... no, no, no.... oh suzy.... I'm crying for you... that just breaks my heart. He looks so happy I just want to cuddle him... poor baby.
It takes a long time to get over heart ache like that..... not that you ever really do. How you stayed so strong I will never know - I know we are supposed to be professional but I just couldn't I would have had a full melt down.
My heart is heavy for your loss.

Suzy I'm so sorry for your loss. Pets are part of the family, and the thought of loosing my little doggie gets me teary eyed. I'm sure you wanted to be home to help comfort your family, but you held up while you had to!

I'm so sorry Suzy, that's horrible, and it's so hard not to have closure for yourself. Pets are such an important part of our families, I'm so sorry.

OMG Suzy, I am sooooo sorry sweetheart!!! I am sending you all the peace and love I can!!! I hope that you and your family can have peace with your little ones passing. I know how hard it can be to lose a pet this way. Where I live people go out of their way to hit animals even close to the road. And we lost one of our dogs this way earlier this year.

On a better note I am happy that your gigs went well at least for the most part!

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

oh man.... bawling. Thanks so much for the kind words guys... This is so freaking hard to get over... and I want to beat the crap out of the bus driver who hit her and just continued on his merry way.
