Henna classes in Charlotte, NC....Maybe!

Sorry I haven't been around guys!! Stupid busy! Bride then Graduation tonite, 2 brides tomorrow, and it has probably been my busiest month ever! (or at least it sure seems like it!!)

I have the opportunity to teach in Charlotte, NC if there are enough people interested in a 1 day intensive henna course. I would need minimum 10 people interested with a class maximum of 16. Please email me or respond here or on my fansite if you are from North Carolina and think this is something you would attend! One of the dates we are looking at is August 27th!

I'll be bringing my paints as well for the after, but it will be a henna deal with everything from mixing directions, tips, tricks, festival style designs, Indian bridal styles and fusion, contracts, etc. How long we spend on each subject is going to be very class dependant. Every group has different needs and a different market. After actual classes, there will be a dinner break and have an impromptu jam session. Not mandatory to attend but let's face it...that's where alot of the magic happens!!

June is bride month!
I am interested. I live a far drive from Charlotte...4 plus hours...I think....I have not stopped there before. I might be able to do a one day henna! I need to learn the tricks for letting teh design flow from the cone and getting the paste to go where you want and stay where you want. It would also be great to discover the tip for the darkest stain....Mine are a nice brown but I want the dark cherry.....

LOL Well my hubby has said that if 'they's is a-payin,' - I can go wherever, so I guess either hit my class at FABAIC next year or I guess play hostess?? LOL
I teach so much at conferences and I love them, but going out and doing a stand alone class with none of my other peeps, seems a bit....odd...BUT a new big adventure!

I need to get more interest. I embarrassed myself by trying to bring Pashur & Marcela last year & no one signed up?!? The locals just don't get the value of good teaching..... We do have some new people that might understand how good it would be to have some bigs teach here, but the old timers are pretty set...

man.. that's a 6 hour drive! not sure if I can pull that off.. and it all seems like it should be so close since I'm just up in VA!

Calling all the South East henna artists!! Consider taking this class, it would be awesome to talk in person with everyone on the forum!
I have already expressed interest and want to encourage others to do so too!
