Help, my henna is not drying or flaking off....

Well, I finally got dye release from my new henna powder...added tea tree oil and applied a small design on my leg and fore arm.. did this late last night and it sort of dried a bit and i applied the sugar/lemon juice glaze..which was pretty sticky.....it was dry enough to sleep on...
Now today (HIGH HUMIDITY) the henn is still on my skin and sort of like soft modeling clay. I have tried the hair dryer....still soft...not drying nor flaking off.....What can I do?
I can try to pull it off in little bits, or scrape it with a dull knife or just wash off with water.....Suggestions welcome!!

You can just pull it off or scrap it off or use some oil to loosen it up. Here in Washington it can get really humid and if you use too much sugar it will not get to that dry flake off period. You should have a fabulous stain though as henna loves to stay moist and warm.
