Hi everyone! I'm here on miss Mehndi Masala's advice, if I mess up, it's all her fault!

I'm a complete newbie to f/b painting, so new I'm not even remotely ready to take money from people yet. I'm a henna artist primarily, but I got a lovely 30-pot paradise set last October and well, you probably know how it goes. So I'll be wandering around poking in interesting spots and buying all the split-cakes I can get! Advice is always greatly appreciated, and man am I mad I didn't know enough to go to Fabaic!

thanks for the warm greetings, everyone! I got a serious kick out of the "first pix" thread, and am digging in deeper! I guess this means I'll have to take pix eventually - eek! So not ready for that yet!

JBM - whereabouts are you doing henna?

Kim, I miss you already, but I still have you on my arm, too! Penni and I are getting together for lunch and practice/play tomorrow, in fact - pity my 4 shiny new split cakes won't get here in time for us to practice with them yet! I guess we'll just *have* to pay our dues and learn it the hard way before we use fancified tools. . . *sigh* Ha ha, I do love things that make me more efficient, but you gotta know what you're doing before you can do it fast!
