Comic book fans: I need your opinions

Working on my Mystique face.... I'm going for the comic book version and not the movie (the movie one would probably look like a bad avatar face). What concerns me is that my first version is too cute and my second a little too witchy? Which do you like better? Is the angrier one bad?

I'm for the witchy one. You could do the scarier one on older kids & the simpler one on younger kids.

I would probably:
* No black lip outline, tone it or a darker lip shade.
* Paint red thin eyebrows (I know they are black, but her hair is red and since we can't paint that..)
* Paint eyelashes
*or an can eyeliner
*Maybe a little bit of a triangular pattern over/around the skull to tie it in with the hairline.
* Highlight with white, where you use black for frowns.

I like the second best and the paint eyelash idea.

I like the second one.
But not the "double" eyebrows.
Paint them as in the comic picture.

maybe paint red around the hairline. When i do Joker, i paint the hair along the hairline lime green to get the "look"

In my opinion i would go forthe second one.

ohh I like the idea of the read hair line too! Neat!
